The Rangitikei District is a small slice of New Zealand heaven; largely unexplored by many New Zealanders, let alone our international visitors. This website is an informative tool for those who wish to live the country life, Rangitikei style.

We welcome all intended new residents, both domestic and international, and wish to provide you with relevant information to make it as easy as possible for you to make a decision about where to relocate.

The Rangitikei District has no city, no traffic lights, no traffic wardens and no parking meters!!! Yet, we are a two hour drive from a combined population base of over 1 million people. We have a moderate climate, a 30 kilometre coastline (largely underdeveloped) and geographically cover an area of 4,500 square kilometres.
